Overview

Ken has extensive skills and experience in leading critical change initiatives as both an executive and a consultant.In his roles on The Alfred Hospital and Honda Australia executive teams, Ken knew what was required to win corporate and front-line support for a range of challenging but crucial change initiatives and achieved every target accordingly. In his role as head of Strategic Leadership, Ken has developed methodologies, training and processes that have enabled his internal consulting team to consistently deliver high quality services to clients.

Through his work with Strategic Leadership, and his Associate work with Melbourne Business School and Lee Hecht Harrison, Ken has equipped hundreds of staff from specialists through executives to achieve positive outcomes through others. He has developed and delivered workshops on Influencing Others, Communication Skills, Facilitation Skills, Customer Service Skills, Managing Change and Dealing with Conflict (amongst many others), has facilitated forums supporting the development of similar skills and has provided extensive personal coaching around these topics.

Ken’s clients include Australian Federal Police, Defence Department, Melbourne Water, City of Port Phillip, Queensland Health, AirServices, ASIC and Sustainability Victoria. He is accredited in a variety of psychometric tools, is a Certified Practitioner Australian Human Resources Institute and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Overview

Matt regularly advises people up to and including executive boards, secretaries, CEOs and ministers.

He has led and worked on a range of high-profile projects as both a public servant and external management consultant. His expertise and experience is in strategy, communication, and change.

In strategy, Matt has led over a dozen whole-of-enterprise reviews of large organisations that range from the Federal Attorney-General’s Department through to NBN Co. He has also worked on more than 30 smaller consulting assignments to help clients overcome various functional and team challenges.

In communication, Matt has overseen multiple communication teams in the public service. He also previously led the whole-of-government media response to a major international media crisis (the Christmas Island Tragedy). He has developed a large number of communication strategies, and overseen the delivery of hundreds of communication products. This experience has helped shape his ability to write and communicate on complex topics in a clear and compelling manner.

In all his work, Matt has prioritised the application of best practice change management to help navigate complex stakeholder environments, foster individual and cultural change, and deliver immediate and lasting outcomes for his clients. He has progressed post-graduate study in change management.

Matt has facilitated workshops and participated in interviews with over 3,000 people across corporate, policy and program areas. This and other experiences (such as working with Parliamentary Committees) has given Matt a cross-cutting perspective that has enabled him to mentor, support and advise on a range of functions from human resources, IT and communication, through to governance, finance and leadership.

In addition to his experience as a consultant, Matt previously managed multiple teams in large organisations. This experience has given Matt insight into ways to navigate and build support for initiatives in complex stakeholder management environments.

Matt brings to clients a wealth of practical experience, especially in significant public-sector settings.

Warren is a Behavioural Strategist with extensive consulting and executive development experience. He has worked with PwC, KPMG and a number of law firm and is currently supporting new Partner development at AT Kearney.

Warren’s core capabilities include business acumen, grounding plans into action, fostering insight in others, getting to the seed of an issue and accurately predicting behaviours and outcomes based on strong observation and analysis techniques.

Warren has held positions of national responsibility in training and development, and sales innovation and development.At ANZ Financial Planning, he was Head of Sales Effectiveness.At Melbourne Business School, he has held the position of Director of Coaching.Warren currently holds positions on Advisory Boards in the Medical, Banking and Finance industries.

In early 2016, Warren’s acclaimed book “FIT” (Wiley) was published, which challenges much of the conventional thinking in place today regarding talent and presents a clear roadmap for developing and sustaining high performance.The premise of this book is “Understand where you fit to understand where you’ll excel”.It highlights the approach Warren applies in achieving remarkable results with his clients.

Warren has also published his insights and recommendations for improving personal and team outcomes in a range of articles in The Wall Street Journal, HR Monthly, BRW, AIM Magazine, AFR and the AGSM Magazine.On the sporting front, Warren has provided coaching to elite athletes in Europe and the USA and is also the profiling consultant to the Australian Rugby Union Wallabies and NSW Waratahs.

Jackie is an experienced facilitator, specialising in leadership development, team building, resilience training, change management and dealing with conflict.Her approach challenges participants to learn using a variety of methods including experiential activities.

She is a qualified Organisational Psychologist with 20 years’ organisational, counselling, consulting, facilitation andcoaching experience.She has a depth of experience working as a Manager and Senior Psychologist with Defence Force Psychology Organisation, HMAS CERBERUS, Navy’s largest training base.In addition, she has performed the role of Manager and Senior Psychologist for Australian Defence Force, Navy, Army and Air Force Recruitment and Selection for Victoria and Tasmania.

Ross is an experienced Designer, Developer and Facilitator of development initiatives for a broad range of Public and Private sector organisations.

His initial career was as a psychologist and he became a leader in the field of trauma management and crisis response. His trauma work included the armed and emergency services, employing organisations and primary and secondary victims.

A former Director at Mt Eliza Executive Education with responsibility for the public sector, Australia and Pacific region, he has managed large complex change initiatives in Defence, Health and Utilities. He was also responsible for a global project with BHP Billiton. As an Executive Coach he also brings his rich background and expertise to tailor unique interventions for individuals and teams. He is particularly interested in peak performance and in managing work and whole of life balance, resilience and motivation.

His clients include Defence Department, AirServices, SA Health and Australian Federal Police.

Craig Martin

Overview

Craig has over 20 years consulting experience.

As part of the Accenture executive team for Southern Africa he was involved in maturing the consulting services within the Communications and High tech market unit. This included taking a 1200 head count practice through the process of improving engagement with customers and optimising utilisation and revenue per employee.

He has successfully launched, grown and matured a number of consulting services companies within the disciplines of business integration, business design, enterprise architecture and design thinking. He is currently in the process of growing his fifth service organisation that focusses on advisory and consulting services.

Craig has advised a number of other organisations around creating and maturing their internal consulting services. Some of these include ANZ bank and the maturing of their solutions organisation to provide more advanced services to the broader ANZ bank. They also include advising organisations such as Telstra and Australia post on service and engagement models for their client facing consulting teams.

Her major interest and strength lies in working with individuals to increase their effectiveness, resilience and satisfaction with their work environments and beyond.Lynn’s specialist knowledge as a medical practitioner has helped hundreds of people to better understand their inner sources of well-being and make changes that have led to greater vitality and energy in their daily lives.

Lynn has extensive coaching experience and applies a range of models in her coaching, including GROW, ACT and CBT.Lynn has been providing coaching to Defence staff for nine years, has provided extensive coaching to medical practitioners at Queensland Health and has coached senior managers at Department of Premier and Cabinet (Victoria), Ambulance Victoria,Melbourne Water, City of Boroondara and City of Whittlesea.
